We enjoy broad beans boiled with new potatoes and onions in a tomato and puree sauce. Lovely with a nice chunk of crusty bread.

As suggested visit a CAB. They should advise on benefits you may be entitled to. Are you in receipt of Working Tax Credits as most self-employed think that are not entitled but they are.

Strawberries generally need replacing after about 3 years when their productivity reduces. Even on new plants it does no harm to eave one or two runners to increase the number of plants. The process is quite time consuming but they publish your book for free, market it, you get a free copy and may even earn some royalties. I ordered similar a while back and was disappointed with the results. I would in future grow them on for a while to make sure they have a good root structure before planting out.

Never understood using only the white part of leeks, your right the tops make a lovely addition to leek and potato soup and improve the colour
