Re: How do I get motivated?
I have got horrendously behind on everything (3 hour exam today is my excuse) but as a general rule I too am always behind on housework and procrastination is my worst enemy. I have written many lists planning exactly how I can get all the jobs done every day/week/month but I generally find my ponde...

Re: Welcome new People Say hello
Hello, I'm in wales, although only just - outside Abergavenny, pretty much on the border with England. I only moved recently and don't speak Welsh either! I am not nearly self sufficient in fruit and veg yet, but that is our aim...

Re: Buttercups.
Mmmm, I love buttercup syrup. No idea what the active ingredients are but as an asthmatic its the only one the pharmacist recommends for general coughy type symptoms. It pretty much does rugger ball for the cough - but it does taste nice!

Re: 101 favorite/useful websites (other than this great one!)
 Anyway, found this site today, is a bit of a jumble but there is masses of stuff, the original link i found was to the 'small farms library'... http://journeytoforever.org/index.html Edited because I just went for quick look to see what the fuss is about and am now even more shocked. I'm sur...

Re: Anyone else see Monty Hall
I still haven't managed to catch up with the earlier episodes, I only got through half of no.1 on iplayer. Managed to catch the last episode though. Was quite pleased to see him crediting the locals for all the help he received. Would have been better if someone who completely submerged themself in ...

Re: Advice from doc re baby sleeping - hadn't heard this before
Just quickly can I check what DD and LO mean, seen them a couple of times, can guess but still haven't quite worked it out! I have 2 girls, nearly 5 and nearly 2. Both breast fed til about 11 months. Never heard nightfeeding stunted growth  Definitely go with your instinct. We pretty m...

Re: Some (long) notes on chook bedding
We have 2 hens and a cockerel who roam free most days, but have a reasonable sized run for occassions when they can't be let out. We only inherited them when we moved last summer so are in fact still on our first sack of bedding. It is some recycled newspaper that has been de-dusted or whatever they...

Anyone else see Monty Hall
Randomly flicked on tv last night to find Monty Halls Great Escape which I thoroughly enjoyed. I've never heard of him before but he's basically moved to the west coast of Scotland to live on a traditional croft - or at least thats what was going as far as I could work out. Obviously it was episode ...

Re: help carnot efficiency question
I wish I could! Am struggling with a QSAR calculation myself - in fact have abandoned it for an alternative question. Still is reassuring to see I'm not the only one struggling with an OU assignment! In fact this is just the reminder I needed - coffee break over, must get back to work
