Our friends have managed to harvest a lot of things to freeze but had already been hit by blight and will lose the rest of the runn...

Growing Okra.

Has anybody tried to grow these? I wondered if they would grow ok in pots against a south facing wall and also if growing in pot in a SW facing glass porch would suit them.I would love to grow some but just dont know what would work best

recommend some good tasty courgette varieties please

this year I grew round courgettes[lidl seeds] and unnamed yellow ones [a gift] next year I would like to try different varieties so what have you grown that gives the best results flavour etc. Also has anybody grown climbing courgettes? I seem to think that T&M may sell the seeds.

Fashion clothing, better to have your own style [in my case lack of it]
I refuse to shave or dehair my armpits and never wear skirts or makeup.
The whole world would be a lot better without cruelty and violence

Re: 101 ways to save money

I can recommend breadmaking especially if you can make a weeks worth and freeze it.My husband is the baker in our house and also makes homebrew which is a massive saving as we both like a few scoops.Eating mostly vegetarian food keeps our bills down and all my cooking is best suited to cheaper cuts ...
