I've just bought an LED light from ebay (£20 of your english notes) to increase the available light during the early morning hours and later evening to get the chili plants underway.

I've seen several reviews that say they're pretty rubbish, anyone had any experience with them?

I've tried and had little success. It needs a very temperate verging on tropical climate. as Davie Crockett above said, I left it one or two days late in the greenhouse and it was dead. Good luck! It's easy to grow, just not easy to keep alive :)

a lot of the problem seems to be draining the water off first, I thought about some sort of oil filter fitted with a coffee filter paper - but you've still got to dispose of the filter papers as well.
