i think its a great idea can't we have a section on our forum for the kids i have 2 sons 9 and 11 who love gardening and care deeply about being greener they offten sit with me and read the posts on the forum once i have checked out whats been written first i would be happy for them to join this one...

I do the same as mmm but i buy the same amount of milk and have the longlife for when the kids decide to drink it all that way i always have milk for my cuppa in the morning

thanks i found them just me being lazy again :oops: i think this one is a newer one as you dont have to wet them and wait for the logs to dry out also they are log shaped and not bricks it will be me making them my mum and nan are going to save all the rubbish that i can use in it for me and i will ...

found a bit more about it You can recycle: newspaper, paper, junk mail, paper bags, old cards shredded cardboard, toilet rolls, cereal packets. paper and card food wrapping and containers tea bags, olive stones, coffee beans, nut shells coal dust small pieces of wood, sawdust dried leaves, twigs

i've just ordered 2 mushroom growing kits one for me and one for the year 11 life skills class i help out with there was a group of lads that wanted to grow organic veg but no one to supervise them so i volunteered for the job :pale: mine will be grown at home in my porch and the ones at the school ...
