Re: What are you reading?

Haha sorry, I know this is an old post that I'm resurrecting... I am currently reading No Impact Man by Colin Beavan and I love it! It's really inspiring and informative and I love how honest it is. I got an Amazon voucher recently so got a lot of similar books on my Kindle. I would have got the Sel...

Re: Should I cut leaves of tomatoes?

I just had to remove a lot of leaves from my tomatoes, due to me accidentally droughting them and the leaves at the bottom pretty much dying (It had been a very hot couple of days). They haven't done anything since really, but they seem to be getting healthier.

Re: Slow cooking

Oooh I've never thought of homemaking baked beans. Might give that a go! I'll have to cheat and buy my own beans though as I haven't grown any this year. And my tomatoes have apparently frozen in time at the moment after an accidental drought a week ago...

What are these berries (And nut)?!

Hello! So the other day I discovered that the city is full of berries, but I have no idea what any of them are, shamefully, and I'd like to start learning. Unfortunately it turns out that Google has waaay too much information and wasn't much help for me, so, do you guys know what these are? I tried ...

Re: Raw feeding

Haha I dunno, my cat is 6 years old, I just spend ages giving her blood mixed in with her wet food, then added minuscule bits of meat which she eventually seemed to enjoy, but wouldn't eat bigger bits. Then I stopped for ages as I had to go back to Scotland for a month and didn't get op round to it w...

Raw feeding

Does anyone on here raw feed their pets? My 8 month old puppy eats raw, in fact it's all she has ever eaten as her breeders run a raw food company. She is incredibly healthy and the first remark people make about her after playing with her is how unbelievably soft her fur is. They actually often thi...

Re: Another reason for hydroponics

Good to hear! What type of hydroponics system have you used for growing these? Are you using any kind of light too?

I'm hoping to experiment with a few different hydroponics systems this winter, and I happen to loooove peas haha so I was very happy to read your post :D

Re: Hello from Berlin!

Hello! You'll be glad to hear then that the sun has disappeared from Germany too haha, so you aren't missing out on much. it was incredibly sunny here up until last week or so though and my main problem with my balcony garden was keeping everything well enough watered haha. Hopefully I can set up a...
