what about exams? I mean I am all for other "ways of life" but the outside world don't seem so open minded. How would Sophie do standard exams * ?

yeah, but even without sterilisation kids can still get asthma. I thoght I'd done really well and set sophie up with an immune system to be proud of, but she's still turned out to be asthmatic.

really, my Soph had elderflower cordial in her water bottle (weak as gnat's waz) and the cookies, although home made, were not sugar free.

I stopped sterilising at 5 months. I used antibac washing up liquid. I started using filtered tap water at 7 months. my daughter is happy and healthy and i hate my heath visitor 'cos she's a total numpty.

something in my local woodland caught my eye the other day, and before getting excited I thought I'd properly identify it. Happily, I found it's wild fennel. there is a small bunch in a vase in my livingroom. partly because it's so pretty and partly because it's better fresh if you're gonna shove it...

I have a pan of elderflower cordial settling and cooling on my cooker as we speak. tonight's pudding will be a little of that, poured over Mackie's clotted cream ice cream.

for blackberry stains I can highly recommend baby dribble. for some reason, baby dribble sems to shift it from hands lol!
