I would not leave a little of 6 with a suspected UTI for a week. If you can't an appointment with the GP straight ways try the out of hours GP or A&E. The last thing you want is for her to end up with kidney troubles.

eventually children will make up their own minds as to whether or not they want the 'stuff'. They also begin to realise that money and goods don't make up for love and affection.....well at least mine did, after the umpteenth KFC they requested a sandwich and 'can we go home now'.

My ASD son had a similar thing happen to him at school.. The children were asked Who would they NOT like to sit next to. we have already paid for the trip too..... I think it just shows that they have no concept of the value of money and judge everything by their own spending habits. I have never known a school recommending this amount...£2 at the most but mainly £1 for ice cream.

Just show you how materialist the teachers are to even consider this reasonable.
