most of the butchers around here sell them (wild) for £4.50 thats why I refuse to sell to them as they only give me a quid I usually swap them for a guinness a rabbit in the pub

today although the weather is nice we are having stew and dumplings even though the weather is nice, and we cheat, to save pennies we get a piece of brisket and cut that up.£3 for the meat feeds us all and left overs. I already keep them, if brought up correctly then theres no prob with sheep etc, mine move away from their bowls if the chickens want the grub, yet they will peg pheasants we catch loads of rabbits etc, its just that many ishers keep dogs, but if it cant put dinner on the table then its a waste of r...

a good cross we experimented with was the light sussex x indian game,I CAN get you some Indian game eggs, then rear them all eat the males(or sell them as trhey do sell for a pretty penny), then buy a LS cock bird to cross them with, I know its an 18month project but at least then its ongoing
