Yum yums

Hi all,

I made a batch of yum yums today, for those who dont know they are like long donuts covered in icing. My problem is they came out a bit heavy if you know what I mean?

Has anyone made these before?
How could I lighten the dough?

Re: Keeping Quail advice?

Hi FKG, Thanks for the post and welcome.

That sounds more than acceptable cost wise. I was thinking 4 birds, what would be a good size run for the 4?

Custard apple tree.
Ive always wanted to grow one as they taste devine. You should be able to grow one easy over there.

Bread fruit
Jack fruit
Hog Plum
Ice Cream Bean

I love rare stuff but do wish I lived somewhere warmer.

Re: What's in a name?

The brother of an Old friend was called 'Chris Duck'. This wasnt too bad but he drove a lorry and on the side his livery read: Chris.P.Duck Haulage Oh and my wife and her side of the family all call me Noo Noo. Its the way my nephews and nieces could remember my name at the start. 11 years on they s...

Re: DIY heatsink for use with earth/clay oven

Hubby and I have currently got a rather clever bod helping us to install our wood fuelled rayburn, and he was chatting about simple solutions for hot water is simply coils for the water within the fluepipes I'm not sure when he will be back but I can always ask him.
