Kiwirach if you google turbo cider you will get recipes from various forums, I decided to try the simplist one I found as soon as I can find something to make it in.I have made various wines from juices but prefer something less alchaholic than wine for general back garden boozing.

I just syphoned my elderflower wine out of its brewbin into a demijohn,I gave up wine making and gave the stuff away but then decided to start again so had to borrow a demijohn ! how mad is that. go ahead and make some wine or you could make cider from tetrapak apple juice, thats my next experiment ...

lambs heart curry,prep them as for casserole in small enough bits not to be obvious. cook for long time slowly.dont tell till meal eaten. only way my beloved willeat them and the :cat: isnt interested in curry so we get to eat in peace

hi andy, i think mrs fibble has hit the nail on the head. when i rented i felt a bit vunerable and isolated. no tenants group just mad and sometimes downright scary neighbours inbedsit type places never mind an evil landlord or 2.since the 1970s things have changed a bit but in some places not much....

Ratty i too looked at the ingredient list. which one will you change to?I wonder if its a bit like voting where you try and work out which one is less evil.one "green" own brand big supermarket washup liquid contains nastiy preservative.saying that i dont think any of them are without preservatives ...

my gran used to pour washup water on the garden for the plants and said it helped see the greenfly off.it was a pretty small garden all flowers. Veg and stuff came from the allotment

cobble doorstop

put nice big cobble or other smooth stone inside sock . twist sock and fold back on its sef. repeat with another old sock for extra padding. these hold doors open without damaging the paint.
