Re: does anyone have healthy snack bar recipes?

oooh, that looks good too...and so simple...I'll give it a try.

I'll have to keep my eyes open for this cookbook, I have many (hundreds!) already but there is always room for one more!

Finally I have the recipe for their health bars 'no added sugar or fat'...and they are delicious! I actually found...

Re: Dr Who!

Just a quick thought...did anyone watch catherine tate on Charlotte Church's show the other night? Re: self suffiency, what turned your head??

I grew up in the 1970s in a 3 bed semi on a council estate in Cheltenham. Our parents both worked, meals came from the freezer shop, the Good Life was regular viewing and the garden was full of rose bushes :? ...except for one small area where my mother planted a dwarf apple tree. Those were the bes...

too many egg whites

Having made quite a few litres of utterly delicious ice cream, I have been struggling to find things too make with the egg whites I have left over. I started off making meringues, which are now also sitting in the freezer then i made some coconut pyramids (not such a good idea with a diabetic, cocon...

Re: My best charity shop buy so far!

I would have done exactly the same, Bluemoon...we lost Skipper back in December but I still miss him every day. Labs are the sweetest natured creatures and leave such a big hole when they are gone. We will have another lab eventually, probably a chocolate, but as yet it is still too soon. I think yo...

Planners strike again

Yet again, planners are threatening another family with eviction from a home and lifestyle that most of us can only dream of. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/devon/7485547.stm OK, so they didn't get permission but what really gets me is that the councillor states "We would end up with the co...
