I wonder whether its just the boredom of what she always has, so with all your tips hopefully I'm going to be able to brighten up her lunches. I l...

Waste Free Lunch Inspiration
Hi, I've been doing waste free lunches for my daughter since September so everything that goes in with her is either edible or reusable. However, I need a bit of inspiration. She's coming home requesting frubes and dairilea dunkers (lots of packaging and not as good for her as my home sliced cheese ...

Re: 3 R's Kids Clothes
I was about to buy a vintage style advent calendar off ebay (second hand in true eco style) when I went an eco notch further (as I lost the bid) and thought to myself I'll make one! So now I need to stop procrastinating on here and get it done in time for December! EEEEEKKKKK! Got the Green n Blacks...

I haven't bought one yet, but I plan too once my last lot of disposables runs out. But a very kind lady allowed me to use some of the content from her website on my blog and her store seems fab, it's where I plan on buying from. You could have a look her website is http://www.ecomenstrual.co.uk/

Re: How do I make breadcrumbs that will keep?
Oh found someone who remembers it QUOTE - If memory serves you tear the bread into chunks and put them onto an oven tray. Place the tray into a very low over for an hour to dry out. Take them out and let them cool down so any moisture from steam evaporates, then blitz them into crumbs in a food proc...

Re: How do I make breadcrumbs that will keep?
I believe it was one the Riverside Cottage a few weeks back.
He froze left over bread (wait until you've got a substantial batch) then heat them in a low heated oven for a while my guess is until they are starting to get crunchy and dry and then store them in a sterilized air tight jar or container.

Re: bike trailer

I'm broke at the moment but want to make the switch from public transport to cycling but I can't even afford a second hand bike at the moment. Tried Freecycle but I've had no luck yet... well we'll wait and see! Hopefully someone wi...

Re: Transporting children
I've seen a bar thing which you attach to your bike and his bike and it lifts his front wheel off the ground so he could just attach his bike to it, apparently the bar even folds away if your not carrying a bike on the back to as not to stick out the back of your bike too much. Not sure what they're...
