Hi all----haven't been here in a good while---did some remodel on the house, etc...and more recently had some remodel done on me----that is to say Carpal Tunnel Surgery and had my elbow taken apart and put back together...not fun but had to be done. Garden stinks---waaay too much rain---and as usual...

Not having much trouble with mice so far this fall---the drought must've inhibited (re)production this year. Plus we currently have three cats. When we do have one in the house I usually set up a bucket trap and "relocate" them within a couple of days. I keep Victor "clothespin" ...

I love John Seymours book---also I would reccommend The Encyclopedia of Country Living by Carla Emery. I cannot tell you how many times I have referred to these two books.
