I'm not planning to plant earlier than the packets say though, the only thing I've planted is my sub arcitc plenty tomatoes and they aparently grow in really terrible conditions lol.

Ikea Poang chair, we're wanted one for ages and jim's dad's friend was getting rid of one. jim asked if we could have it just before he put it in his car boot to go to the tip.
it's a bit scrotty looking on the cushion even after a wash, but for now it's covered with a large piece of brown fun fur.

I save buttons and zips, but we don't get much second hand at the mo. child is a different shape to most of the older girls I know, those older girls have siblings and local second hand shops are slim pickings for kid's stuff unfortunately :(

I liked the fact that in the other recommendations on amazon it had both the Bible and grow your own food for free by dave lol!!!

I'm planning on not buying specially made pots for my plants this year. christmas tree?

we bought a pot grown tree this year and I'm hoping with some careful bonsai style trimming, we can keep it a nice portable size.... one thing though, do I need to harden it off before putting it back outside?!

I love DPNS, but couldn't get on until I did the Knitty Socks 101 pattern a couple of times. I've now made two practises, a pair of baby socks and a pair of decorative ones for hanging on the tree....
