I'm not planning to plant earlier than the packets say though, the only thing I've planted is my sub arcitc plenty tomatoes and they aparently grow in really terrible conditions lol.

I save buttons and zips, but we don't get much second hand at the mo. child is a different shape to most of the older girls I know, those older girls have siblings and local second hand shops are slim pickings for kid's stuff unfortunately

we bought a pot grown tree this year and I'm hoping with some careful bonsai style trimming, we can keep it a nice portable size.... one thing though, do I need to harden it off before putting it back outside?!

I love DPNS, but couldn't get on until I did the Knitty Socks 101 pattern a couple of times. I've now made two practises, a pair of baby socks and a pair of decorative ones for hanging on the tree....
