Hello and thanks spider8 and pelmetpeople... i'm afraid a lot of pubs have been closed now Sue, when I first came about 4 years back I drove past around 7 or 8 pubs just down Forton Road, there are now only 3 left.... still manage to find a pint or two though..

Hello and thanks Milims, can't help but notice the hen, we also keep a few hens in the garden but thew ones we have are getting on a bit and almost stopped laying, just can't bring ourselves to despatch them though but we will probably get some new ones in the spring.

Hello found this site and joined today so hello to everyone. We are about to tackle a 5 rod allotment in Gosport which is 5 feet high in brambles. New Digging hoes, right angled forks and slasher arrived from get-digging.co.uk so I will post my progress. Any tips, advice very welcome indeed!
