Re: Webhosting recommendations

Hey! Do you think a WordPress Blog would also suffice for the beginning to upload pictures and portray some of the work? I know WordPress is more of a Blog, but it does have a 'Gallery' plugin that should be really good. Has anyone tried that yet? Or are you all hosting a professional website? I had...

Re: Pig Factory Farms for eco-fuel

Wow this is weird. Talk about cognitive dissonance. Here we have a farm raising pigs in a totally non-natural fashion, all indoors in a crowded space, no natural settings, no ability for the pigs to roll around in the mud (which pigs actually like doing, it's not like you or me rolling in the mud --...

Re: solar power = wallet-friendly in 2013

That price may or may not be after the taxes applied by state and local governments, probably before, but even after it still is quite cheap. It's one re...

Re: Disgraceful...

A lot of law especially when it comes to land use is set up to protect the interests of companies that use the land for commercial purposes. It's designed to exclude competition that can't meet certain requirements, thus raising the bar to financial independence. The fewer people who can become fina...

Re: 93 days in jail for having a veggie patch?

All I can say is that that sounds like a pretty repressive community and one I would never voluntarily choose to live. I can understand it from the community's point of view, because they're striving for a certain upscale image in Oak Park evidently and a vegetable garden in the front lawn conveys s...
