If you can't pee outside in the compost, pee in the shower. If you have to use the toilet, use a clean, old cut up t-shirt instead of toilet paper. Throw in laundry after use.

Look what I found. If I understand this correctly, they are poisonous. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saponin
Well, I looked at the information again and you have to EAT them to be poisonous. :) Sorry, didn't mean to scare anyone. If you have pets or young children please use caution with the soapnuts.

I don't follow any religion but if I had to guess what Jesus would drive today I would say a pick up truck. Wasn't he a carpenter before the savior title? I remember seeing the tshirts and bumper stickers several years ago that said WWJD, but some kids turned it to mean, We Want Jack Daniels. Jack D...

Question about wood stove

I moved into a house this year with a wood stove. Instead of starting a fire with newpaper, would it be safe to start a fire with a cardboard egg carton filled with dryer lint? Thanks for your help.

I found an all natural toothbrush. The name of the toothbrush manufacturer is Brooks. Here is a link to show you one. Maybe you can call some natural stores and ask if they carry it. Good Luck!

The kids and I did an experiment with chalk and ants. The ants did not like to cross a chalk line. Try chalking a band about 2-3 inches wide around the trunk and see if they cross it. Please let me know if it works.
