Our biggest money-savers are asparagus and rhubarb, without question! Even in season the prices are insane. And half of what you buy is waste. Luckily, these are the first things I planted on our farm, so we are well off on these two vegs.

I have a clotheline outside for summer drying. For winter, I use a wooden clothe rack that my Grandparents had when they moved into town in the 1940"s. I can't use it when I'm not home,though. The cats think I set it up for them to play on and the clothes wind up on the floor.
