New to apple trees too.... but my query is re pruning back I know not to do it at this time of year as the trees are setting fruit etc but when to do it and how hard to prune back?? Managed to succeed with the dry curing... Many thanks GA..... Also managed to acquire a massive shop type bacon slicer off evil Bay.... but the fella wasn't up to the mark for slicing so it lay relatively unused behind the sofa in the conservatory (I know, strange place to keep an item but as I said...
