Saw my girls have a go at a very live ferret/stoat that had got into their enclosure. Felt so sorry for it that I went in and got the girls off - it probably came back later to eat the eggs/chicks. Oh well.

To freeze my eggs I seperate them into yolks and whites - they keep better that way - and don't look as if they have gone off. Have you considered storing them in isinglass?
