I have just started some elderflower champagne and also just as an experiment i bought 2 litres of apple juice and i am fermenting that out and may sweeten it later.

I wish i had found them :scratch: . They will be fine as long as you sterilize them and if making a red wine then they are perfect for racking as the green glass will stop it losing its colour.

I made some last year but only about a litre. i used a mixture of eating, cooking and crab apples. i used a cheap multipurpose wine yeast and it tasted great. i wish i had made a lot more, gonning too this year :cheers:
