Good way to use those insidious plastic bottles including the milk ones. Watch them and when they get tight just slack off the top and let some of the pressure out. If they do burst you get the beer over the floor but no glass shattering.

Grapefruit seed extract, lemon, vinegar, Lavendar, cedar, cinnamon, mint all have disinfetant and / or anti bacterial properties. Try googling 'Natural disinfectants' there is quite a range.

Apparently a good number of the things that we grow as annuals are in fact perennials. I was wondering if anyone has tried growing tomatoes, runner beans etc as perennials? If so where and how?
