Dear Julie, I so relate to your problem. I had the same when my dog was about six months old. (Now 18 months). We farm and have 70acres alive with sheep. She (pup) suddenly decided it would be fun to chase a lamb which had got out onto our drive. She lit off and chased it up the road and into a far ...

Hi, Fantastic site, only just discovered it! We farm in Monmouthshire and I endeavour to grow veggies in the heaviest wet clay you can imagine. The plus is that we have a mountain of very old chicken and horse muck which is totally organic, (I call it my black gold) but miles away from my veg patch...

Pollination of very early broad beans?
Hi, I have recently got a polytunnel - 12X15ft and because we are on the heaviest of clay have constructed some raised beds in it. I thought it would be fun to raise some really early broad beans and so planted them in some root trainers in Oct. They are now about six inches tall and look v.healthy....
