Re: Views on Fostering
If your children are still at school, it could cause them endless problems... they will feel duty bound to stand up for the new member of the family, and that new member is often a massive trouble maker ... not due to their own fault but just development issues and behaviour problems... OTHER CHILDR...

Re: Views on Fostering
I was a foster mum for just over nine years, I did short term fostering and cared for 147 kids in nine years. I only have contact with one or two nowadays... Its a mixed bag, yes it can be bloody hard, frustrating, absolute hell at times... but also, when it goes right, its a joy. Sadly the joy is n...

Re: Yoghurt
I have a yogurt maker a lovely friend found for me on freecycle, its so simple, works really well and I mix the stuff up before bed at night and have fresh yogurt in the morning. I know its electricity but mine is only equal to a lightbulb. I love it..

Re: Tiny baby spuds. What do you do with them?
Yes I tend to chuck mine in cassaroles etc. But I also use them combined with all the ones that get damaged when you dig them to make floddies. Burger type patties made from huge pans of boiled spuds, a couple handfuls of oats, beaten egg, grated cheese, onion, moulded into shape and dipped in seaso...

Re: Unintentional Vegetarianism?

When we do its just a little , once slice or one small chop is more than enough if we try to eat more or more often, it really cl...
