Hello... again!
Back again! So, what's new with you guys and girls? Haven't been here in a while... again but as life is temporarily back on track it's time to get back to normal... whatever that is lol. Life went a bit sh*tty midway through last year. Firstly a close friend died of Cancer which knocked me for six ...

Re: When did you take your festive decorations down?
We didn't put any up this year for several reasons but mostly because they'd be pulled down faster that we can put them up by our 4 little terrors (Ferrets)

Having just recommended this site to someone I thought 'Uh-oh I haven't been there myself for quite some time' So, what's new with us? ... er... nothing lol, However, we are still in Cornwall and absolutely loving it here! We haven't quite got the garden up to scratch (understatement) however...

Re: DLA they turn everyone down first time, they're supposed to, ALWAYS appeal;.. see if you can find someone 'in-the-know' to help you fill in the godawful form as there are certain trigger words that make them sit up and notice. The benefits in this country are so f*cked up it's stupid, they're ha...

Re: Can you trust your mechanic?
I totally trust my mechanic / garage, he's never put a foot wrong so far and always cuts us a fair deal and specializes in older / classic cars (ours is a H reg 1991 Mazda 323). Newer new cars are not built to last, we had our car MoT's a couple of years ago and the 2 year old car in front of us fai...

Re: Sea fishing?
We made fast friends with our local tackle shop and their advice and guidance about purchases, methods, knots, what's around fish wise etc has proved invaluable so I'd say find a good one and chat to them / ask their advice. Tell them what you want to catch and where and they will guide you to the r...

Re: Wild Camp Fury
It disgusts me that people can take the bloody items TO the place when full but not take them home again empty! Also annoys me when fishermen / women strip their line off and leave it strewn all over the place, one guy my hubby knows managed to take TWO bags of rubbish home with him from just one fi...

Re: Shopping for pleasure?????
Retail therapy for me in the high street is absolute HELL! Even Stupormarkets make me sick these days (I have to leave OH to finish and go sit in the car). The exceptions being bookshops and charity shops... I'm surprised people have 'retail' therapy money spare to be honest at the moment, we don't ...

Re: Honey Contamination
I've been doing a bit of reading about the honey we can buy in UK supermarkets and decided to write to Rowse to ask if their honey is raw (slightly off topic, I know, but I was interested  ). This is the reply I have just received: Thank you for your email and your interest in our honeys. All...
