We raise free range turkeys and chickens for the table here in Essex. Always happy to set people up, provide birds etc. We do also eat excess cockerels that we hatch, but these take many months to rear and still have little meat. Whereas the specific meat birds we have (Hubbards or Cotswold Whites) ...

Hi there
The best solution we have found is to spray the houses with creosote and parrafin 50-50 mix. Spray inside, outside and underneath. Hens can go back in the house that evening. Best to spray every Spring

Hi there From what you have described, it really does sound like red mites to me. Spray the house with a 50% Creosote and 50% Paraffin solution inside and out. If it is red mites, you will see millions of them come crawling out of the joints. Aim to spray your house every Spring. But using this mix,...
