We only use loose leaf tea now and I find it much nicer than bags, it also means you can use less tea as most tea bags have too much tea in them for one cup. I find the tea pot with built in infuser very useful. I like the look of that one, even I could manage that, do you have to fill it right up ...

Thanks for your tips, especially about the egg shells. As for loose leaf I have tried that, but I am such an incredibly messy person it has never worked out particularly well for me. As I'm still pretty new for this I'm greatful for your tips. I have a big plastic compost bin which I bought from the...

I have used freecycle in the past, but my experiences had not always been good. I once advertised a fireplace, but could not include much detail such as photos, I believe there is a mechanism now, but as a result I got bombarded, and I mean bombarded with e-mails from people thinking it was an old f...

I've just got myself my first compost bin, which I'm very excited about. I have been throwing a lot of vegetable waste and paper in, also tea bags, but I have read somewhere that tea bags can be made of nylon and there fore aren't any good for recycling. I think mine are paper, but does anyone know ...

Reuse Old Items, Clear Some Space
Hi, I posted a reference to this in a previous forum, but I think this is probably a more relevant location. I have created a website called www.freeuseit.net It's purpose is to give people a place where they can advertise old unwanted items, that maybe they woudl have thrown away, so that they can ...

Hi, sorry it is my site, I am just trying to make it known so I suppose it is an advert for it. I'm pretty new to this kind of thing, if you'd like to advise me as the best way to approach this. I'll make the changes. When I had the idea for it I didn't know about any of the other sites, apart from ...

Give old things away, get things for free
Hi, I've set u a website that's free and easy to use as a way of passing on old items that you may normally throw away but may be useful to other people. It's called www.freeuseit.net it's free to advertise and you can attach up to 6 photos. You may even find something you need, so why not have it f...
