Hi gigglybug, The police wont want to know as its on private property and therefore a civil dispute. Try putting up a sign which says 'parking £20 a night'. If you look at public car parks you can get the wording right - something to the effect that if you park here you accept these terms and condi...

I personally have an open mind. I've been reikied and felt nothing, been on 'journeys' and fallen asleep. It doesnt make me uncomfortable at all but I accept that, maybe I'm just not sensitive enough to pick up on these things. But how would it be possible to legally define between the genuine peopl...

On the whole I agree that people who are daft enough to pay and expect something that's not merely entertainment deserve to loose their money. Its their money and its their choice. However when people loose someone who is very close they can be in a very vulnerable state of mind and so desperate as ...

Presumably you would be able to see if other trees were cut locally? It doesnt sound like mindless vandalism but that your trees were deliberately targeted. I'd guess it was mistaken identity or someone who didnt like the trees for whatever reason. Still, what goes around comes around, they will get...

Think about it, when you look back on memories of childhood, you remember the good times you had, not the 'things' you had. Kids see through 'stuff'. I also think that kids sometimes , perhaps unknowingly, play one set of parents off against the other. I bet when they go to the other parents place t...

Hi Teasal. You've probaly got foxes with cubs to feed close by. Previously, so long as our chix were safely locked away by dusk, we had no problems with foxes although we knew they were around alot at night but we had a problem last year when a fox and vixen had cubs on next doors land. Then they we...

Hi oldgustav, Ours is a Super Bosky 60/90 and, with flue control box and carriage from Howarth to Midlands, cost us £2745, which I think is far cheaper than a Raeburn or Aga, three years ago. Its not quite an electric oven - the oven is heated by the fire but has an electric element in as a back-up...

Hi mbc. From the pic, they do look like honey bees. As already said, phone the council or police who will give you the number or will phone a local beekeeper. (A nucleus of bees costs £50 - £80 currently so you shouldn't have any trouble finding someone to take them). If not, bees hate damp condit...
