Re: Weeds that give up?

Hi All We had alot of docks in our field at one point (horses would only eat the grass) so they thrived! making our fields look untidy! We kept on mowing them and now we are nearly dock free! so I think that mowing them works with docks! Also we had a little patch of nettles in the garden and after ...

Battery Hens

Hi All, Early this year we saved 14 battery chickens from a farm were they were quitting the battery farming lifestyle (I think because of the prices of wheat). They were selling them for £1 per chicken. Do people only get battery chickens when a farm were they are quitting the battery lifestyle or ...

Muscovoy Duck

Hello All, We started off with 2 ducks and 1 drake and they were all happy wondering around with each other. Then 1 duck had a little duckling (our first ducklin we raised - 2 hatched but 1 never made it). After that all the ducks and drake (including the duckling) would wonder around together. Then...

Kune Kune Pigs

Hello All.

We have 3 delightfull pigs. 2 are male castrated and 1 is a gilt. The two males are about 1 year old and the gilt is about 6 month.

The person we bought them off said there wasn't any injections but worming is neccersary when you see a worm or the symptoms.

Is she correct?

Thanks Tom
