But who decides what's good for you personally? if you want to apply poison ivy, then yes, I'd think it probably wasn't a good idea but that doesn't necessarily mean I should stop you. Where I think the law should step in is when you want to apply poison ivy to someone who doesn't want you to do it...

I would buy a plot of land out and away from everyone else. I've debated whether or not I want an old home or if I would want to build a new home as I have some very specific ideas about the kind of kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room I would like. I would probably get a more fuel efficient car, som...

Nature produces many products that are not safe or healthy to use. If it's illegal it's probably because it...

Some convenient foods require just as much attention and time as fresh cooked foods. I make tabouleh salad just about once a month during the summer. Sure, cutting everything up takes a bit of time, but the salad lasts a couple of days. I'm getting plenty of food for the effort - and I wouldn't real...

I didn't watch the sunrise this morning but I will probably spend some time bird watching (from my front window) some time this afternoon.

parents aren't given enough information about home ed - just get told that it's time to enrol for free nursery places and then next thing you know it's time to enrol at primary school. Not only are we not given information on schooling options but I have been pressured to enroll my son in school. I...

Apparently Grannie thinks that saying your sorry is some kind of punishment and admittance of guilt, instead of an act of kindness and consideration. More parents need to set such a good example for their children. Though I do not at all approve of children running so wild even in a play area. A pla...

I'm not sure which is more amusing, the headlines or the way that man must have felt when you sent him away without even taking his card.

Baking soda or a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. I usually sprinkle the baking soda on a wet cloth or scrub pad, then use it to wash the desired area.

I've been trying different concoctions that I make the day I wash my hair. My most recent concoction is 12 oz of water, a handful of baking soda (perhaps a couple of tablespoons), about a half teaspoon of rosemary, a tablespoon of mashed cucumber, and about an ounce of milk. The ingredients are rand...

Walk, when and where ever you can.
During the winter keep your blinds/shades open to receive as much sunlight/heat as possible, during the summer keep them closed to eliminate as much sunlight/heat as possible.

Very funny. :) For the record though, my dad loved cooking and when he cooked he did all the prep work and cooking. He was also the avid fisherman that cleaned and cooked his own fish.

I think I waste time by wasting time. Sometimes I just stand and stare at all the things I have to choose between and wonder which I should do. :? I love PC/console games, puzzle books (crossword and the like), and crafts - if I'm doing nothing else I'm likely doing one of those things. I like readi...

You maybe just needed pointed in the right direction - there are plenty 'seperates' out there and have been for a long time even in USA. http://www.mother-ease.com/ are one of many long established retailers over there. Many of those products are/were too expensive for me. Thankfully diapering isn'...
