Dunno! I was waiting for confirmation of their visit and to learn how they planned on getting here (so we could arrange to pick them up if needed), but never heard back. I'm not even sure if Wombat has our full address—he may do what everyone else does and go to the pub to ask where the bloke with the black pigs lives.

Wombat also mentioned a get together up this way, but I don't know what, if anything, is planned. Ina/Shirlz, do you know anything?

Same here - I'm waiting to hear from him! I did suggest to have a bit of a meet up at my place, as I can't get away due to lambing. I know it's a long way for you lot up north - but maybe the northerners can met at yours, and the southerners at mine?

 You are still several hours from us  Not sure if we could make it through to see everyone :(

Happy to take part in something nearer the central belt or even Fife would suit us better.... anyone?

I don't really know enough Ishers/Neepsters in real life to organise a get-together, which is why I wondered if Ina/Shirlz knew anything. They seem to know everyone (and organise everyone!).

Hey gang!

Sorry, it got a bit frantic for the week before we left. Yep, the weekend of the 11/12 is the Scotland weekend. Rather than impose too much a night with Stoney and s night with Ina? We have a car and so (assuming we can get petrol) transport is not a problem. What is best for you guys?

I don't mind - I'll definitely be here!

Great you've made it. I had been having visions that they'd mislaid not just your luggage, but yourselves at Terminal 5...

OK Ina, will wait for Stoney and see what is best for him. Last couple of days have been great except for the jetlag, the weather is great too!

 Woohoo - really looking forward to your visit! I feel jetlagged myself - it's these blimming shifts at odd times of the day and night...

Glad to hear you're here safely. I'd love to get to a meet up and should be about that weekend. Either Stoney's or Ina's is about the same distance for us or we can host by Banchory if it suits any better.

Hope to see you soon
