Useful heat from a candle? I found this site www.heatstick.com.
Lots of interesting bits and bobs including details of how to make small heaters. (Also ideas for diy greenhouse?) The type of candle required is the jar type as standard pillar type candles will melt. They also say that liquid paraffin candles are very clean burning, last for ages etc.
Simply bolting together some clay flower pots to start off. Could this idea be sized up? I remember being told that a large flower pot over a gas hob when camping would give off some useful heat, so its an old idea.
They also show the electric lamp type of heater, I think you can cook on a 100w bulb!
