nice weather

Post: # 82268Post mrsflibble »

it's lovely and sunny, if a little chilly here in Essex today... I have a nice big load of washing out on the line but I'm sort of worried that it may end up all over the carpark out the back if it gets any more windy!
oh how I love my tea, tea in the afternoon. I can't do without it, and I think I'll have another cup very

A bit o' work and a bit o' fun;
Give us all in the struggle and sputter
Our daily bread and a bit o' butter.

Started the day with a gale, hail and bitter cold; finishing the day with a stiff breeze, rain and cold. Definitely an improving day... :mrgreen:

It was dry here all morning. Until I went out of course...I have just come in because the wind and rain was plotting against my plans to sort out piles of wood and start on my chicken house... grrr....

But now I have a cup of tea and sitting infront of the woodburner, with cat and Husband... lovely :mrgreen:

I need a deckchair. or a waterproof beanbag of some form. my dinig chair which i use as my office chair just isn't cutting it. i want to sit outside with my cuppa and my 50p bargain professional photographer magazine (it was on the market, 3 months out of date but who cares?!) but it's too cold to sit on the flagstones.

if i could I'd be there in a shot oldfella.
J'adore la france, mais je crois que je deviendrais très gros si je devais habiter en France; J'aime beaucoup les pâtisseries françaises!!!!!

I'd also have to carry around my huge french dictionary; or at least a verb table; 'cos my french isn't as good as it used to be. that and among other propblems my hubby doesn't speak a word of it so i would end up being his personal translator again. it was hard enough on our honeymoon!!!

anyway, I'll raise my can of pepsi max in salute to you and your wine.

Mornings have started very cold at about -6 to -8, but once the sun is up for a couple of hours, the frost melts and it is lovely, come lunch time - it is France after all and absolutely oligatory that everything stops for 2 hours between 12 and 2 - it is certainly warm enough to sit outside if you are eating and drinking something hot - not so good for a sandwich and a beer though!
