It finally stopped raining this afternoon, so i took the chance to build some new raised beds for our garden as bending down for me and jane is getting difficult, at one end we put a trellis i made out of the wooden blinds for the runner beans and at the other end another trellis for the sweet peas (thank you Annpan   ) the compost bins are getting emptied tomorrow in the beds and then some topsoil from our garden to cover,
They will make great homes for our salads, toms peppers and courgettes

well done russ. I built 2 big ones last week too. 4 meters x 1.5 meter and 6 inches deep. 2 barrows horse dung in each mixed half full topsoil. Mine is heavy clay so will add sand. Waiting on a delivery of rock dust and will fill the trailer with seaweed, rinse and put a layer down then layer of newspaper then more topsoil then plant up with herbs and veg! Should be interesting!
