Food for Free

I just ordered Food for Free (Collins GEM) from amazon. It looks a good book and the reviews back it up. Ill post a review when I get it. Has anyone else got it?
I also found First Steps in Wine Making by CJJ Berry in amazon marketplace for 1p!

Food for free is a great book, i've got both the paperback and the gem versions. In the spring i was keeping the gem one in my bag all the time.
CJJ Berry's book is great too! So many people recommended it to me, so i boughtit from Ebay (more expensively that you!!!) and i've learnt so much from it - i've made the tea wine from it at the moment, but it gives you a lot of confidence when it comes to making your own - and lots of tips too.
I've got another book, called Country wine something... and that's a really good one. When i get home, i'll find it and post the details. It goes into more detail about making wine without adding anything at all.

On a slightly related subject; can anyone recommend a publication that lists stuff by season (as I understand CJJ Berry's book does)?
I'm in a Hunter-Gather (well not hunter since I'm vegi!) mood but would not have a clue where to start.

the country wine one has seasonal wines too.
CJJ Berry's is excellent for seasonal wines - it lists wines for every month.
Haha - you have to add fruit and sugar for the country wine one! I've heard of fermented water before, but i'm not sure it would make for very tasty wine!

Food for free is excellent ... I have the pocket sized version so I can carry it with me when out walking

It arrived this morning and I already have a list of things I want to find. I might go out for a wonder round the wood tomorrow if its not pouring down with rain.
