........where you live?
So far, the best thing that grows in my plot (apart from glass & stones) is courgettes.
But i guess they are easy ones!

Glass and stones here!

Ummm...going by last year, the potatoes did best. The broad beans were useless and i was rubbish at growing gourgettes and squash (did it all too late!).

I might have a better idea later this year though.

beans, raspberries, radishes, courgettes, spuds in fact lots of things do well.

Aubergine outside did not do too well and tomatoes got blight.

Courgettes need rich soil so you should do ok with most other stuff too.

Bindweed and Mare's Tail :(

Thankfully, potatoes do well as do broad beans and the fruit trees and bushes we put in have taken off. Last year the nasturtiums we put in went very well and the courgettes and marrows did great but I suspect that was more to do with them being planted on a compost pit.
