Self Sufficiency Lecture THIS THURDAY!!!!

This Thursday 2nd June is the first meeting of the Lincolnshire Smallholding and Self Sufficiency Club .
Start time is 6.30pm and the venue is a restaurant called 'The Farm' at Chapel St Leonard's in Lincolnshire.
If you are in the area do pop in , Entry is free to the meeting (although contributions can be made) and membership forms for the club and info from HDRA, WFA and Lincs Wildlife Trust will be available.
We are also very fortunate to have a Self Sufficiency lecture from Mr Pat Gardiner .He and his wife have lived self sufficiently for almost 10 years!
We are also hoping to be able to get ideas and input from those attending to help with future meetings.
We also have booked a sausage making demo for August and a basic butchery meat cutting and jointing demo planned for November. If you would like to give a talk or demo please contact us.
Do try and pay us a visit on Thursday. We really look forward to meeting you.
For further info.email us on lsssc@T***o.net or visit our Lincolnshire Smallholding and Self Sufficiency Club Website at the bottom of this page.
The venue is on the coastal road between Anderby Creek and Chapel St Leonards with it's lovely clean sandy beaches just over the road, so why not come down early and spend the day?
Thank you

Thank you for the compliment!

It seems I will be in Europe (Belgium) for most of December this year, but only will make it to London for 3 days in early January, so the logistics area bit ewww  ! I would love to get together with you guys for a yarn and swap ideas, it sounds like you have some really good stuff going on.

First meeting has taken place and what a lovely bunch of people it was that attended. We had a fantastic talk by Pat Gardiner, which was very well received and he even took time to answer questions and chat with all those attending. Subjects were varied and interesting from home winemaking , drying produce and other food storage methods to keeping livestock etc .Every one seemed relaxed and chatty and we are certainly looking forward to the next meeting when we will be looking at home made wine and beer in more detail! Thank you to all those that attended and special thanks to Pat and his lovely wife for giving their time so freely and to the venue owner Kate for giving us the use of the venue for free. Thanks again!
