Stuff them with soil, hang them over something, rip holes in them every so often and plant them with strawberries etc.
Cut them and stuff them with soil to make brick shapes and build a wall with them. You can make holes and plant the wall.

shove an apple down the leg tie a knot then shove another apple in and repeat till full then hang to store
if you have an old deck chair that needs a new seat/back you could tie on some old tights for the weft and then weave some others through i havent tried it but i think it could work.

Tie over the top of the hoover nozzle with an elastic band to use for "dusting" fiddly ornaments. Saw that one on that program with Kim and Aggie (How Clean is your House maybe?)

Wear a brown suit then stick the tights on your head with the legs filled with paper, crouch down with a wrinkled nose and pretend your a huge rabbit. When female rabbits inevitably come sniffing around due to your incredibly attractive new look......

fill 'em with soft old rags, tie the toes together to form a snuggly ring and slip a baby bottle with warm milk through a small hole. Add a warm hot water bottle, cover with a blanket to create a burrow-style darkness and hope the baby bunnies left orphaned by Sawfish's tight-wearing will accept the makeshift tlc and survive!
(Value added option this one - get 6 bunnies for the price of 1. Rabbit stew anyone?!

)

Silly? Well, I stayed up later than I should have last night, brain impairment! Try this instead:
Use old tights and other recycled bits and pieces to make glove puppets.
Eg. use two fingers from worn out gloves to make rabbit ears.
Or take 4 pairs of tights, tie together, get 4 children to put their arms in the tights and drape seaweed to create sea monster puppet.

My friend cut a bit off and used it as a hair scrunchie to tie her hair back. I was flabberghasted. I just thought it was a regular hair tie until she told me!
I followed suite and cut a part of a leg off once and used it as a hair band. It blended in and you could hardly tell it was there.

Cut into strips & use as stuffing for cushions, cuddly toys etc.
Store bulbs (the plant kind) in them, hung up in the shed or where-ever, it'll prevent the bulbs rotting.
