From the look of things, I am old, and have always been old!

You have a range of slippers.
Pickled onions and gherkins cause 'discomfort' after eating them.
You have discussions regarding the price of turnips twenty years ago.
You avoid eating nuts or anything else that might break teeth or stick uncomfortably in your dentures.
You purchase and wear a transparent, fold-away rain hat.
You purchase and use a 'shopper'.
You decide that when you next decorate your house you will have floral print wallpaper with matching upholstery.
You continually forget where you left your glasses.
You purchase a necklace thingy to hang your glasses from.
You forget that you have purchased a glasses necklace thingy and are still unable to find your glasses.
 Bingo starts to look appealing.
You are appalled at how teenagers speak, dress, behave etc.

it bothers you when people don't use correct grammar.....

you remember a funny thing that happened and then realise you can count how long ago it was in decades.

no one even thinks to ask for your ID when you are buying alcohol

the music they put in films is always far too loud

You are really pleased with the slippers you got for a Christmas present (dang that happened to me)

you buy your loved one 'microwavable slippers' for a Christmas present (dang I did that... but hey its cheaper than putting the CH on)

I now know I'm getting old. My friend just sent me a picture of some hunks wearning not much for valentines day and I replied with the exciting news that I'd finished knitting a scarf. Where do I get those slippers?
