Hi, did anyone else see this? on the innocent e-mail

Excellent news for the start of 2007. We've been working on a biodegradable bottle for a while now, so we're chuffed to announce that it's finally on the shelves. It's made from corn starch (aka Polylactic acid) and is manufactured using a carbon neutral process. Goody two shoes.
FANTASTIC

I hope they let other companies use the technology...well done innocent

Belu!
They're made from some kind of Corn i think.
They biodegrade in the big composty things that the council have (the heat-asisted ones that you can put bones andmeat into).

I hope mine doesn't degrade though...its got cherry wine in it at the moment!!

Oh bums :?

I thought they were a new thing  Also thought you would be able to compost them on your regular compost heap

Still I suppose they might be the first bio-bottle in a supermarket? maybe?
