windfall apples for cider

Hi to all, I have an orchard full of windfall Apples,tons in fact. They are both eaters and cookers, can these be used for Cider making, or do they have to be used off the tree.

Hello there yes windfall apples are just fine, See the other cider posts for more advice.
Where abouts in Lincolnshire are you I live in Scunthorpe and have a press and crusher you could borrow in return for some eating apples. After asking every person I knew and placing adds on free cycle I have bramleys but not many eaters.
