1 leek per person (or half a large leek)
4 slices of smoked ham per person
1 small tub sour cream per person
wholewheat spaghetti
and last, but definitely not least, the magic ingredient.....coarse ground black pepper.
Put your spaghetti on to cook before you make the sauce.
Chop the leeks and ham and chuck them in a wok or frying pan in a little bit of olive oil. Once the leeks have softened, add the sour cream and heat through.
Then add LOADS and LOADS of coarse ground black pepper - much more than you think you should. The sour cream should turn a pale yellow colour.
Serve topped with fresh parmesan and a green salad, and make a mental note to start running in the morning....
