Interesting the plethroa of fresh produce you guys have at the moment

Eldest male child (Timmo) returns Monday from 8 weeks wandering England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland. He is desperate for a good feed of fresh vegetables and has even resorted to visiting vegetarian restaurants to get some. His younger brother (obligate carnivore) will never let him live that one down

I'm sure you'll be glad to have him home.

His mother is in child withdrawal at the moment (he is only 32 after all)
We will have him back for 2 days then he and I will drive (his ute) back to Mount Isa (2,500km) where he works - I will fly back. Unfortunately we will be forced to make several stops along the way to investigate the local marine fish species and sample regional produce. I am informed there are a couple of craft brewries along the way that are also worthy of close scrutiny

Mine is 32 next week and is back at home. We joke about not being able to persuade her to leave but I'm happy where she is really.

I'm sure you'll do them all justice.

2500 km seems an awfully long way. We baulk at driving 500 miles to see the in-laws! Have fun.

GA - 2500km varies in length depending on the route - we will be taking the "scenic" coast rout most of the way so it will take us about 5 days - with refreshment stops. The two boys took the inland route a couple of years ago in an ancient hilux - took them 2 days driving virtually non-stop dawn to dusk - you don't drive after sundown out there unless you have to, too many Kangawallapigs.
