Nice one, Jo! Have you tried them out yet? They definitely need some veg producers to add to what they are offering... Is that an opening for you lot up there?

Jesus no!

. Now there are about 5 local/organic veg producers who deliver and/or operate in or around central Aberdeenshire. Vegged out! Plus so many people are growing their own now.

I've just had my first veg 'box' from these people!! THANKS to Jo for collecting it from the Mossat shop carpark for me as my car is out of action until it's taxed and insured (Friday hopefully!!)
Well... I'm VERY impressed.... First of all it isn't a box, it's a bucket! 10/10 for reusable packaging. Obviously you need to return the bucket next week for them to refill for the week after.
Today's bucket contained delicious yellow carrots... tatties (freshly picked, and no doubt about it), beetroot... but a lovely cylinder shaped variety which makes for easy slicing!, curly kale, a cauliflower, white onions... RED onions.. (my favourite), parsley, a squash.. (not actually sure of the variety but will email them and ask) and a lovely sweetheart type cabbage. All for £12.50.
For this delivery, all the greenery was attached... I liked that especially and hope that they will allow me to receive this next time too.... you can make soup out of carrot tops... beetroot leaves can be used like chard or spinach... even the onion tops can be used in stock (thanks Jo)
