Opening tins

It might be just me, so, does anyone else seem to have more trouble using a tin opener on basics/economy brands of tinned food that others?

not the basics tins, but a basics (or just cheap quality, poorly made) tin oppener usually last me about a week before breaking. Save up and pay more for an expensive one that's rugged and well made, and will last for more than 10 uses (or use a good old multi use pen knife)
