These are a new variety for me and I like the long stalks on the fruit which lets them hang over the side of the trough, keeping them clean and unlikely to go mouldy. They are an everbearing variety so should produce many pounds over the summer from the 20 plants.
Hope they taste as good as they look.
These are of course indoors, in my unheated conservatory, so nothing to do with micro-climates.

They look great, my outdoor strawbs are looking rather sad in comparison. Lets hope for a lot more sunshine and strawberries.

Seeing as you're not going to let on what variety the straws are,I'll guess......Could they be 'Tony's Out of Season Mid-Atlantic Specials'...?

Wow OJ, you're very nearly right. They are called Finesse which also describes me to a T.
