Storing goose eggs

I want to take a few eggs from the goose to put in a friends incubator, hedge our bets so to speak

what is the best way to store them

Any do's or don'ts?

We keep our Goose eggs in a dark, cool place for around 2 - 3 weeks before we place them either back under the Goose or any broody chickens.
