Came across this book on amazon which seems quite good. It about growing things from kitchen scraps which you'd normally throw out/compost. It explains things well so anyone can have a go.

Thanks for pointing this out Demi, have found it on Ebay as well, my grandson is 4 soon and is keen on gardening, I think I will buy it for him. :)

I have that book, it's pretty good, especially concerning tropical or exotic fruits.

I recently heard about growing potatoes from potato skins....... might take a gander at the book!

I liked the fact that in the other recommendations on amazon it had both the Bible and grow your own food for free by dave lol!!!
