seeds to swap

Post: # 26232Post the.cultivated.swedes »

we have these seeds in surplus, they're a mix of free with magazines and other. Most should be more or less within their "use by" dates:

unopened packets:
1 x Coriander - for leaf production
1 x Brussel Sprout "Falstaff" - purpleish variety
1 x Lettuce "Winter Density" - "cos" variety
1 x Carrot "Early Nantes 2"
1 x Raab Cima di Rapa - a UK novelty popular in Italy, sprouting relative of turnip, also known as "brocoletto".
2 x Chilli Pepper "Cayenne"
1 x Carrot "Paris Market" - small round variety, good for containers
5 x Tomato "Garden Pearl" or "Gartenperle" - popular bush cherry tomato variety, good for containers

opened packages:
1 x Burnet - perennial herb producing leaves with a cucumber like scent/taste. Lots of seeds left in this one.
1 x Lemon Balm - vigorous perennial herb producing lemon scented/tasting leaves. Enough seeds to produce well too many plants!

We'ld love to swap these for any seeds really, but here is our long wish list for next year so you can get an idea:
-Catnip "Nepeta Cataria" (we just got a kitten!)
-Carrot "Sytan"
-Onion "Senshyu"
-Tomato "Sungold"
-Nasturtium "Black Velvet"
-Aubergine "Money Maker No2"
-Any Purple Sprouting Broccoli
-Tomato "Marmande"
-Carrot "Amini"
-Carrot "Primo"
-Tomato "Costoluto Fiorentino"
-Pink Tree Spinach
-Red Orach "Artiplex hortensis var. rubra"
-Cucumber "Zeina"
-Sweet Pepper "Marconi Rosso"
-Tagetes "Safari Red"
-Beetroot "Bull's Blood"
-Beetroot "Pronto"
-Dwarf French Bean "Rocquencourt"

Pm us with suggestions and address if your interested in any of the seeds!

Hey swedes,

Nice selection of seeds, just to say that we are growing "Costoluto Fiorentino" tomatoes this season - they are an impressive size and very virilent at the moment though still green. Been great fun - hope they taste as good. I shall be saving seeds when we harvest and will pop some in the post for you if you let me have your address (email direct to me). Not sure which ones fo yours to swap with , but then that's the fun of it eh?! If you've any left over once received the tomato seeds you can send me a surprise... I've also got a cracking french bean climbing at the moment the name of which I have no idea. Fancy a try?

Best,
Hannah

Excellent! Sungold, Purple Sprouting Broccoli and Marmande would be great. We have both Winter Density and Garden Pearl left. We also have some "redbor" curly kale seeds left - it's the one with that lovely purple colour. Though it might not get as purple in Spain - isn't it the cold that makes it more purple? We'll pm you the details.

Here's an update of what's left now:

one of each of the following packets:
Coriander
Brussel Sprout - Falstaff
Carrot - Early Nantes 2
Raab Cima di Rapa
Chilli Pepper - Cayenne
Carrot - Paris Market
Tomato - Garden Pearl
as well as a few Burnet seeds and a few Lemon Balm seeds

Come on then, let us get rid of these packets once and for all!?
